What is the Mendi 9s competition?
Mendi 9s is an exciting, fast-paced rugby league competition played in a modified nine-a-side format. Featuring three competitive divisions in both the Men’s and Women’s categories, it offers thrilling gameplay and opportunities for all skill levels. When and where will the 2025 competition take place?
The Mendi 9s 2025 competition will be held at Brothers Leagues Club Townsville on October 3-5, 2025. Coinciding with the NRL Grand Final and the King’s Birthday long weekend.

What are the registration costs for the 2025 competition?
The registration fee for the 2025 competition is $2,100 per team, applicable to both Men's divisions and the Women's division. To secure registration of the team, a $600 deposit is payable withing seven (7) days of registration with final payment due on or before the 30th of June 2025. Registered teams will compete for a chance to win a share of over $30,000 in prize money!

Yes, teams are welcome to bring shade tents. Please follow venue guidelines on tent placement and setup times.

Will medical assistance be available?
